Craft Agents is an open-source desktop application for working with AI agents, built by the craft.do team as a document-centric GUI alternative to CLI-based agent tools. Reach for it when you need to juggle multiple agent sessions without living in a terminal, when you want to connect Linear, Gmail, Slack, or a custom API by just describing it in plain language, when you need to share a session with a teammate, or when Claude Code's command-line experience feels too low-level and you want a proper UI. Under the hood: a multi-session inbox with status workflow and flagging, streaming responses with tool-call visualization, MCP server support (local stdio and remote), REST API connections via OpenAPI specs or pasted endpoint URLs, 32+ Craft document tools, per-workspace skills and sources, a VS Code-style multi-file diff viewer, file attachments (images, PDFs, Office docs), and event-driven automations. Supports Anthropic, Google AI Studio, ChatGPT Plus, GitHub Copilot, and OpenAI API keys. Built with TypeScript/Bun and Electron, licensed Apache 2.0; installs via a one-line shell script on macOS, Linux, or Windows PowerShell, or can be built from source with Bun. The direction is a GUI layer on top of agents — not an embeddable orchestration framework for headless pipelines.
