Русский язык для Hermes Agent

hermes-ru-locale is an open-source tool that brings a full Russian localization to the Hermes Agent desktop application by Nous Research — 2,218 translated UI keys, localized settings constants, and an automated installer script. Reach for it when you run Hermes Agent from source and the English-only interface is a friction point, when you need to hand the tool to teammates or end users who work in Russian, or when you want a fully localized AI agent without manually editing config files. The translation is built on Hermes's defineLocale() partial-translation mechanism: any untranslated keys fall back to English automatically, so Hermes updates don't break the locale. The package contains three files — ru.ts (main translation), ru-constants.ts (settings field names and descriptions), and install.ps1, a PowerShell script that auto-detects the Hermes installation path, copies the files, patches types.ts, catalog.ts, and languages.ts, and runs npm run build. Locale aliases ru, ru-ru, ru_ru, and русский are all recognized. The direction is UI language switching, not translation of model responses or user content. Requirements: Hermes Agent v0.18.0 or later built from source, Node.js, npm, and Windows 10/11 — the installer script is PowerShell-only. The project is in beta; strings added in newer Hermes releases will appear in English until the translation file is updated.
