InvenTree is an open-source inventory and stock management system: it tracks parts, components, and goods, their quantities, locations, and movements. Reach for it when you need to bring order to your stock on your own server: maintain a catalog of items with parameters and suppliers, track balances across warehouses and locations, record incoming and outgoing stock, and build bills of materials (BOM) and purchase orders. It has a web interface, a REST API, and a plugin system for integrations, and self-hosts. Its focus is a full inventory/stock management system for teams and manufacturing, not personal tracking of household items (HomeBox for that) or accounting: the value is control over stock, parts, and orders under your management. It suits workshops, small manufacturers, labs, and teams that need serious inventory and component tracking with an API.
