NextChat is a light, fast AI chat app you can self-deploy and connect to Claude, DeepSeek, GPT-4, Gemini Pro, and other models. Reach for it when you want your own tidy web or desktop client to AI using your own API keys: chat with different models through one interface and keep history and prompt templates yourself instead of relying on someone else's service. It deploys in one click on Vercel/Zeabur, has a desktop build and mobile apps, and runs on your provider keys. Its focus is a private, self-hosted client to cloud AI models for personal or team use, not an agent platform or a local-model server: the models themselves stay with the providers, and NextChat gives a convenient interface to them. It is close in job to LibreChat and Lobe Chat.
