Stable Video Infinity — infinite-length video generation
★ 2.6K
Stable Video Infinity (SVI) is an open-source model and codebase for generating videos of practically unlimited length. Its Error Recycling mechanism curbs artifact build-up and color drift in long clips; it is work from the VITA@EPFL lab (ICLR 2026, Oral). Reach for it when standard diffusion models lose consistency after a few seconds, when you need minutes of footage without stitching short clips by hand, or when you need long human animation (the EverAnimate method built on SVI 2.0 Pro). The project builds on Wan base models: the main branch works with Wan 2.1 (SVI 1.0 and 2.0), the svi_wan22 branch with Wan 2.2 (SVI 2.0 and 2.0 Pro). The community shares ComfyUI workflows for SVI 2.0 Pro; the authors advise different seeds for different clips, better prompts and 480p resolution to avoid slow motion, and warn against using the repo's SVI 1.0 workflow with the new version. SVI 2.0 Pro is also available on the Poe platform, including through its API. The direction is generating new long video, not processing existing footage. Running a diffusion model locally calls for a powerful GPU.
