Auto-Backup n8n Workflows to GitHub is an eight-workflow n8n collection for automated backup and management of a self-hosted n8n instance. Use it when you are tired of losing workflows after server updates or migrations, when you want version history for your workflows in Git, or when you need CI failure alerts delivered inside n8n. The main workflow periodically exports all workflows via the n8n API and commits them to a GitHub repository. Additional workflows include automation-runtime-mcp for MCP protocol integration, bytebytego-newsletter for newsletter digest, RSS intelligence capture and digest pipelines, a CI failure alert, a wiki ingestion trigger, and an acceptance data cleanup routine.
