adaptyv is a Claude Code skill that explains how to use the Adaptyv Bio Foundry API and Python SDK for protein experiment design, submission, and results retrieval. Adaptyv Bio is a cloud lab where users submit amino acid sequences via API or UI; the automated facility runs assays — BLI/SPR binding screens, affinity kinetics (KD, kon, koff), thermostability (Tm), expression, and fluorescence — and delivers results in approximately 21 days. The skill covers Bearer token authentication, installing the beta adaptyv-sdk from GitHub via uv pip install, both the @lab.experiment decorator and FoundryClient patterns, cost estimation, and the full experiment lifecycle from Draft through Done. Python 3.10+, an Adaptyv Foundry account, and an API key from foundry.adaptyvbio.com are required. It is aimed at protein engineers and bioinformaticians who automate laboratory screening workflows through code.
