Algodocs automation is a Claude Code skill that connects Algodocs to your workflows via Rube MCP and the Composio toolkit, letting you automate document data extraction and Algodocs operations directly from Claude Code. Reach for it when you need to pull data from invoices, receipts, or contracts in Algodocs without manual copy-pasting, when you want to chain document processing into a broader automation pipeline, or when a recurring extraction task should run on a trigger rather than by hand. It works through the Rube MCP server — add `https://rube.app/mcp` as an MCP endpoint in your client config, no API keys required; the Algodocs connection is activated via `RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS`. Every workflow must start with `RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS` to fetch current tool schemas, since slugs and input signatures can change. The direction is Algodocs operations and structured data extraction from documents, not general-purpose OCR or file conversion. Works for anyone with an active Algodocs account and Rube MCP configured; not usable if Rube MCP is missing from the client setup or the Algodocs connection has not been activated.
