Iterative prompt auto-optimization
★ 7.6 · vibe-coding
auto-optimize-prompt refines a prompt in Claude Code until no issues remain: it runs review-prompt in a loop, resolves ambiguities with the user, and applies fixes via the prompt-engineering skill, repeating until the reviewing agent finds nothing left to fix. There is no iteration cap — convergence alone determines when the process stops. All work happens on a temporary copy at /tmp/auto-optimize-*.md, and the original file is updated only once the prompt has fully converged. If no file path is provided, the skill asks which file to optimize. On completion it reports the file path, iteration count, number of auto-fixed and user-resolved issues, skipped items, and a summary of changes made.
