Systematic Code Review with Checklists

code-review-assistant is a Claude Code skill that performs systematic code reviews using standardised checklists. It fetches changes via `git diff`, `git log`, and `git show`, then evaluates the code across eight categories: functionality, design, quality, readability, testing, security, performance, and error handling. Every finding is tagged with one of five prefixes — BLOCKING, IMPORTANT, SUGGESTION, QUESTION, or NOTE — so reviewers can instantly distinguish must-fix issues from optional improvements. The skill works on an entire branch, a single file, or a specific commit, and wraps up by recommending a clear next step: re-review after fixes, proceed to commit, or run an audit to update the checklist. It suits teams that want a repeatable, transparent gate before merging code.
