Competitor comparison taxonomy management
★ 6.5 · marketing
comparison-taxonomy is a Claude Code skill that maintains a consistent competitor comparison schema across a marketing catalog. Before making any changes, it loads three files — COMPETITOR_GUIDE.md, TRACKING.md, and the competitor record template — and inspects a few real competitor entries for context. The skill owns comparison axes, tag vocabulary, category and segment naming, relevance tiers, stable field naming, and normalization rules. It applies the smallest change that resolves the identified schema pressure, whether that is a new website filter requirement, a recurring inconsistency, or a missing research dimension. All schema authorities — guide, template, and tracker — are updated together, and every change includes a clear statement of what changed, why it was necessary, and which existing records will need normalization.
