Cold Email Writing

★ 6.8 · marketing

Cold Email Writing is a Claude Code skill that drafts B2B cold emails and multi-touch follow-up sequences — from subject line to breakup message — with personalization grounded in each prospect's actual situation. Reach for it when reply rates are near zero on outbound campaigns, when you need to reach decision-makers you've never spoken to, when an SDR team is launching a new prospecting sequence, or when you want a 3–5 email cadence with increasing send gaps and fresh angles at every touch. The skill builds each email around the recipient's world: funding rounds, hiring signals, tech stack changes, or LinkedIn activity become the entry point rather than a placeholder swap. It generates subject lines that look like internal messages (2–4 words, lowercase, no gimmicks), body copy structured around proven frames — Observation→Problem→Proof→Ask, Trigger→Insight→Ask, Story→Bridge→Ask, and others — and low-friction CTAs designed for a one-line reply. If a product-marketing-context.md file exists in the project, the skill reads it first and only asks for what's missing. The direction is creating cold outreach copy from scratch, not nurturing warm subscribers or lifecycle flows (use email-sequence for that), and not building pitch decks or sales collateral (use sales-enablement).
