process-automation is a Claude Code skill that converts repetitive manual workflows into properly structured SKILL.md files with validated frontmatter. It evaluates a described process against four complexity criteria — more than seven steps, branching if/else logic, knowledge from three or more independent standards, and direct impact on subproject source code — then routes work through one of three paths: Simple (direct SKILL.md from a Skill Brief), Complex (XSPEC creation followed by /sdd), or Delta (appending MODIFIED/ADDED sections to an existing skill). Candidate processes are tracked in SKILL-CANDIDATES.md, and automation triggers once a process has been performed manually three or more times. The skill is aimed at teams looking to codify recurring procedures and store process knowledge in Claude Code rather than in ad-hoc notes.
