Product Marketing Context and Positioning

marketing

Product Marketing Context and Positioning is a Claude Code skill that gathers your product, audience and messaging into one file, so you needn't repeat them before every marketing task. Use it at project start or after repositioning: "describe my product", "who is my target audience", "build my ICP", "update the context, we moved upmarket". The skill checks whether .agents/product-marketing.md exists and offers two routes: draft a first version from the codebase, README and landing pages, or go through sections in conversation; if the file exists, only changed sections are updated. Twelve sections: product overview, audience and jobs to be done, B2B personas, pain points, competitors (direct, secondary, indirect), differentiation, objections and anti-personas, the four forces of switching (push, pull, habit, anxiety), verbatim customer language, brand voice, proof points, goals. Irrelevant sections can be skipped. The file keeps a version and changelog; other marketing skills use it as their base.
