Viral Trend Watching on Social Media is a Claude Code skill that finds current trends on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube and breaks down why clips went viral. Typical asks: what is going viral in my niche, trending sounds and hashtags, analyze this viral clip, or plan content around current trends. All data comes through the Apify MCP server, which runs scraper actors; without a working connection it stops instead of inventing anything. It first asks for the niche, platforms, hashtags or leading accounts, region and volume, since actor runs spend credits. Then it runs the actors, keeps recent top posts, and analyzes each by hook, format, pattern and why it went viral, looking for patterns repeated across platforms.
