Step-by-step development planning

writing-plans is a Claude Code skill that turns clear, stable requirements into an executable step-by-step plan with exact file paths, commands, and verification steps. It produces a markdown document saved to `docs/plans/YYYY-MM-DD-<topic>.md`, structured with Goal, Scope, Non-goals, Risks, a file list (Create / Modify / Test), and numbered tasks — each with an explicit Outcome, concrete Steps, runnable verification commands, and dependency references. The guiding principle is that every task must be specific enough for an engineer to execute without inventing missing requirements. Use this skill when work spans multiple files, phases, or checks and requirements are stable; skip it when the change is trivial or the scope is still ambiguous.
