Chatlayer is a Claude Code skill that connects the development environment to the Chatlayer conversational AI platform via Membrane CLI. It supports managing tables (select, insert, update, delete records), along with intents, entities, conversations, integrations, and bot models — through ready-made actions or direct proxy requests to the Chatlayer API. Membrane handles authentication and credential refresh automatically, so there is no manual auth setup required. When built-in actions don't cover a use case, raw HTTP requests can be routed through the proxy with headers injected transparently. The skill is well-suited for customer service and sales teams looking to automate chatbot data operations or integrate Chatlayer into broader workflows.
