interview-me is a Claude Code skill that runs a structured multi-turn interview to formalize a vague research idea into a concrete project specification. The conversation flows through six phases — big picture, theoretical motivation, data and setting, identification, expected results, and contribution — with one or two questions per phase. After five to eight exchanges the skill produces a Research Specification Document covering the research question, hypothesis, empirical strategy, dataset description, and contribution to the literature, saved to `quality_reports/`. When the spec references prior work, a `claim-verifier` subagent is spawned via Task to check citations before the file is written. Best suited for researchers who need to frame a half-baked idea into a rigorous study design before drafting a proposal.
