Onboarding Plan has Claude Code build a personalised 30/60/90-day onboarding plan and deliver it as a ready-to-use Excel workbook with Plan, Milestones, and Resources sheets. Reach for it when you need a structured first-90-days roadmap for a new product manager or engineer, when HR wants a plan with formal checkpoints and probation pass criteria, or when you need mentors and managers to know exactly what they own from day one. The skill asks for role, level, start date, manager, mentor, and 90-day ownership expectations — all in a single clarifying round. It then generates Excel: the Plan sheet holds 3–6 items per week across five fixed categories (business knowledge, tools and process, relationships, deliverables, compliance training), with target dates as formulas tied to the start date so rescheduling re-dates the entire plan. The Milestones sheet captures review formats and pass criteria at week 1, day 30, day 60, and day 90; the Resources sheet lists documents, systems, and people, marking anything unknown as [TBD]. The skill also outputs in-chat guidance: weekly mentor actions with explicit time commitments, manager questions for each checkpoint, and instructions for the new hire on updating status. The direction is onboarding new hires, not evaluating existing staff — use a performance-review skill for that.
