memU — persistent agent memory across sessions

★ 6.5 · knowledge-management

memu is a Claude Code skill that wires the memU long-term memory system into an agent, so context from past sessions is stored and retrieved automatically in future ones. Installing it runs `pip install memu-cli` (or `uv tool install memu-cli`), selects the right host-adapter binary — `memu-claude-code` for Claude Code — and configures two seams: **record** (a scheduled background task mines the session log into durable memory) and **inject** (a standing instruction in the agent's config triggers retrieval before each answer). Memory can be kept locally in SQLite on the device or hosted in MemU Cloud, with the choice written once to `~/.memu/config.env` and shared across all agents on the machine. The skill is aimed at developers who want their agent to remember project details, decisions, and prior conversations without manually re-supplying context at the start of every new session.
