Tweet and trend analysis via X API

research

x-research is a Claude Code skill that searches and analyzes tweets in real time using the X API v2 Recent Search endpoint. It accepts parameters for topic, language, time range (up to 7 days), sort order, and filters such as no-retweets, media-only, or a specific user, collecting up to 300 tweets per session. Results are saved as three files: a Markdown report with engagement-ranked top tweets, hashtag analysis, and time-series distribution; a structured JSON file with full tweet data and author metrics; and a plain-text summary. The skill requires an X Bearer Token at the Basic plan ($100/month) or above and depends on requests and python-dotenv. It suits trend monitoring, public opinion research, and social listening workflows.
