Interactive Three.js 3D Object with Export

★ 7.0 · web-development

3d object is a Claude Code skill that builds an interactive three.js 3D model the user can orbit in the browser and download as OBJ + MTL or GLB for use in external 3D applications. Reach for it when you need a ready-made 3D mesh without opening Blender, when you want an embeddable interactive viewer that also exports a clean file, or when a pipeline into Unity, Unreal, Maya, or Cinema 4D needs a GLB with a proper part hierarchy and PBR materials. The skill constructs the model programmatically from THREE.js primitives — BoxGeometry, CylinderGeometry, SphereGeometry, TorusGeometry, LatheGeometry, ExtrudeGeometry — assembled into a THREE.Group with named meshes and materials; those names map directly to o/usemtl entries in OBJ and node names in GLB, making the exports immediately usable downstream. The pinned import map locks three@0.184.0 with exactly three addons (OrbitControls, OBJExporter, GLTFExporter); no other versions or addons resolve. Output is a plain HTML file with script tags — DC Design Components are incompatible due to helmet restrictions. The bundled three_d_stage starter provides studio lighting, ground shadow, orbit controls, auto-framing, and an export toolbar. This skill generates geometry and exports it — it does not load or display existing model files. Supported export formats are OBJ + MTL and GLB only; FBX, USDZ, and STEP are not available.
