AG-UI — skills for building .NET apps with AI agents
★ 8.0 · web-development
AG-UI is a set of skills for Claude Code that helps you build apps with the AG-UI .NET SDK. The skills cover streaming chat (stateless and hosted agents), server tools, client tools, human-in-the-loop approvals and interrupts, shared state, multimodal messages, reasoning traces, protobuf transport and troubleshooting. AG-UI itself is an open, lightweight, event-based protocol that standardizes how AI agents connect to user-facing applications. An agent emits events of about sixteen standard types, and the transport can be SSE, WebSockets or webhooks. The protocol complements MCP, which gives agents tools, and A2A, where agents talk to each other. Use the skills when you connect an agent to a .NET interface. The README does not give an install command for these skills. A new AG-UI project can be created with npx create-ag-ui-app my-agent-app. MIT license. For .NET developers.
