ArchiveBox is a self-hosted web archiver: it saves complete snapshots of web pages (HTML, PDF, screenshot, WARC, extracted text, media) into your personal collection. Reach for it when you need pages preserved so they don't disappear and stay available offline: archive bookmarks, articles, documentation, browser history, and links from social media in case the original is deleted or changed. It accepts URL lists, bookmarks, and history exports, stores the archive locally, and gives you search over it; under the hood it uses wget, Chromium, yt-dlp, and other tools. Its focus is long-term personal archiving of web content kept on your own machine, not a one-off turning of a site into data for AI (Firecrawl/crawl4ai for that) or a cloud service like the Wayback Machine: the value is your own private, complete copy of important pages under your control.
