Web-Check — OSINT website analysis
★ 34.7K
Web-check is an open-source OSINT tool that pulls everything publicly visible about a website from a single URL: DNS records, TLS certificate chain, HTTP headers, cookies, redirects, tech stack, open ports, hosting details, and associated domains. Reach for it when you need to quickly understand what a site runs on before an integration or acquisition; when auditing your own domain for exposed data or misconfigured security headers; or when vetting a suspicious link before clicking through. Built with TypeScript and deployed as a web app via Docker on your own server, so all requests go out through your infrastructure. It consolidates around thirty checks into one report instead of running each separately across different online tools. The tool works in the direction of passive external reconnaissance, not active vulnerability scanning — for that, look at Nuclei or similar. This is a dual-use tool: use it only lawfully, against systems you own or are authorized to assess, with the owner's consent. Not suitable for deep security auditing or internal infrastructure penetration.
