OpenReel Video — видеоредактор в браузере

★ 5.2K

OpenReel Video is an open-source video editor that runs entirely client-side in the browser: your footage is never uploaded. The author positions it as an open-source alternative to CapCut. Reach for it when you need to edit a video without installing software; when privacy matters and source footage must not go to a cloud; or when you want a free editor with no watermarks or subscription. Inside: a multi-track timeline with no track limit, frame-accurate trimming, transitions, chroma key, blend modes, keyframes, colour grading (wheels, curves, HSL, LUTs), audio effects (EQ, compressor, reverb, noise reduction, music ducking), 20+ text animations, SRT subtitles, screen recording and AI upscaling through WebGPU shaders. Export covers MP4 (H.264/H.265), WebM (VP8/VP9/AV1), ProRes, MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC and OGG audio, and image sequences, with hardware encoding through WebCodecs. Built with React, TypeScript, Zustand, WebCodecs and WebGPU. Use it at openreel.video, or run locally with Node.js 18+, pnpm install and pnpm dev (localhost:5173). Browsers: Chrome and Edge 94+, Firefox 130+, Safari 16.4+; 8 GB RAM and a discrete GPU are recommended for 4K. Projects autosave to IndexedDB, meaning inside the browser. MIT licence. Not a fit for browsers without WebCodecs support.
