Code2Video — обучающие видео через код Manim
★ 2.1K
Code2Video is an open-source agentic framework from Show Lab at the National University of Singapore that turns topics and concepts into educational videos by writing executable Manim animation code instead of generating pixels. Teachers, course authors and researchers use it when they need to explain a formula, an algorithm or a scientific idea in a 3Blue1Brown-style video and ordinary video models produce inaccurate diagrams and unreadable text. Three agents share the work: a planner expands the storyboard, a coder writes and debugs Manim code, and a critic with a vision model refines frame layout. Because the output is code, results are reproducible and can be regenerated and edited. The project also releases the MMMC benchmark covering 117 learning topics, with evaluation of efficiency, aesthetics and knowledge transfer. Running it requires Python, Manim Community 0.19, a language model key for the planner and coder, and a Gemini key for the critic. The paper was accepted at ICML 2026. It is released under the MIT license.
