Baserow is an open-source no-code platform for building databases, applications, automations and AI agents; an Airtable alternative available in the cloud and for self-hosting. Reach for it when your team needs a shared structured database with a spreadsheet-style interface, when data must stay on your own server with no storage limits, when repetitive workflows should be automated, or when you want an internal portal or dashboard without a developer. It combines a spreadsheet and database hybrid built on Django, Vue.js and PostgreSQL; applications and portals published on your own domain; automations; dashboards; and Kuma, an AI assistant that builds databases and solutions from natural-language descriptions. It is API-first with an OpenAPI schema. The developers state GDPR, HIPAA and SOC 2 Type II compliance. Install with a single docker run command or through Docker Compose, Helm, Heroku, Render, DigitalOcean, AWS, Cloudron, Railway or Elestio. License: everything except premium and enterprise features is MIT (open-core); some features are paid. It is for structuring data and building internal tools without code; large-scale analytics and ETL are not claimed in the README. It suits teams that want full data control and an Airtable replacement.
