BrowserWing — browser automation for AI agents
★ 1.4K
BrowserWing is an open-source browser automation platform for AI agents: it records browser actions, lets you edit them visually and exports the scripts as MCP commands or a Skills file (SKILL.md). Reach for it when you need structured data from a website with one command, when a repetitive browser workflow should be handed to an agent instead of slow, token-heavy step-by-step LLM control, or when you want to connect browser control to Claude Code, Cursor or other tools that support MCP or Skills. Inside: 78 built-in scripts (GitHub Trending, Hacker News, Bilibili and more, run with browserwing run), 26+ HTTP API endpoints, a visual recorder, a built-in AI agent, LLM-based data extraction (OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek), cookie and session management, and a CLI that is headless by default. Install with npm or pnpm, an install script, a prebuilt binary or a source build (Go and pnpm required); the web interface runs on port 8080 and Google Chrome or Chromium is required. The direction is browser control and data collection. Suits routine web tasks; use it only on sites you are entitled to access and in line with their terms of service.
